Caskets are special containers designed to provide a safe, dignified final resting place for your loved one. Available in a wide range of prices, they are constructed of a variety of materials such as steel, wood or wood products, stainless steel, copper or bronze.

There are two basic types of caskets - Gasketed and Non-gasketed.

Gasketed Caskets are designed to offer protection from the entrance of soil and water. A seamless, gasket lies between the lid and base of the casket. When closed, the lid is tightened against the base of the casket to provide protection from the elements.

Non-Gasketed Caskets do not have a gasket protection system.

Whether a casket is designed with or without the protection of a gasket is a personal decision.
