Caskets are special containers designed to provide a safe, dignified final resting place for your loved one. Available in a wide range of prices, they are constructed of a variety of materials such as  steel, wood or wood products, stainless steel, copper or bronze.

There are two basic types of caskets - Gasketed and Non-gasketed.  

Gasketed Caskets are designed to offer protection from the entrance of soil and water.  A seamless, gasket lies between the lid and base of the casket.  When closed, the lid is tightened against the base of the casket to provide protection from the elements.

Non-Gasketed Caskets do not have a gasket protection system.

Whether a casket is designed with or without the protection of a gasket is a personal decision. 

Both types of caskets are designed to honor life and can be personalized in many ways to reflect the unique life and personality of your loved one. At a gathering of friends and family, or during funeral or celebration of life, they serve as a focal point of honor and respect.
